Memoir: Fight Without FearHow often we cry out seeking help from the One, when we should be thanking Him for everything He’s done. The gift given in the form of a human man and a wooden cross can never be matched but taken. Revenge In LeatherI was being smothered with a thick cloud of smoke. Gasping for air I scrambled around on the muddy ground feeling the rough, wet surface of the road. I tried looking for my hands but I couldn’t even see them. Even my eyes were stinging, the smoke drying them out at an alarming rate.   
  The noise was overwhelming too, a deafening roar that echoed amongst the glowing red sheets of smoke that danced around me. From behind a force sent me flying further forward, clearly onto the road where I landed painfully on my back, the mud seeping immediately into my clothes. Pop Goes The TequilaIt was still early morning when we finally heard the first sound of other civilisation. A distant horn echoed eerily through the morning mist, a cold pale blue sky growing brighter over head. Condensation billowed out of our mouths as normal on such a frosty morning and our clothes were wet from the cold night.   
  Not a word had been spoken since Norton had revealed where we were headed, the ominous Silent Bar. I had wondered for the past hour about what and where this place was but dared not ask. A tenuous bond was left between Norton and I and I wasn’t prepared to make it any shorter – especially when he had Pop Goes The Tequila

Grave Snatchers“Aban said you would come when I needed you most.” His words almost hissed from his lips. “How true it is …”    I was stunned. Norton, the secret, the clue, was a cold-hearted tubby sitting right in front of me on a bed in a ghost hospital. His little plant, book, glasses and slippers were all that remained of a life he had maybe once lived. But even that left one great mystery. I was speechless.   
  “Come, we don’t have much time. You may not know but we are under attack. My surveillance died only moments ago and they were already on the fifth floor by then. Most are wait Grave Snatchers

Days Off Work

Man I love days off work like this.

Got the music going in the background whilst typing away with my cat on the bed and hearing the patter of rain outside with the soft caw's of the birds and crows.

Just so nice :) A real change from the splash of the pool water, or the roar of the mower, or the noise of my car's engine.

So how's everyone been going? I've just been working away, still growing in God but struggling a little with a few things. Nothing God can't overcome though ;) Welcome back to my mate Topfox, he's back in Australia and it's good to have him back.

What's On

- Thursday, 28th February: My friend, Carla's, birthday and dinner at the local Chinese restaurant! CHINESE! :D
- Saturday, 1st March: Gold Coast Triathlon, work mates 40th dress-up (I'm going as Willy Wonka, expect pictures! :P)
- 6th to 9th March: My trip to Sydney :) Going to hang out with my cousin for the weekend. Kind of felt like going for a small trip elsewhere and hanging out with someone. Mum's going down for a women's conference anyway.

What's Done

- Work, work, work :P
- Part Six of my latest book just in. Called 'Revenge in Leather'. Not sure how it is since it's been a while since I've written anything that big (like 18 months! :O).
- Three memoirs of my experiences since committing my life for God's purpose.
